New Orleans on Film

In October, I took a quick trip with two of my good friends, Sydney and Ana to Georgia for a friend's wedding. On the way back, we made a stop in New Orleans for an evening on the town and a morning stroll through the French Quarter and a ride on the trolley to get the New Orleans feel. I hadn't ever been to NOLA before, and I have to say, I'm completely smitten with it's charming architecture and interesting history. I'm hoping to go back one of these days with Curtis and explore a bit more! Here are a few images from my time there.

Pennsylvania on Film | Travel

In September, Curtis and I traveled up to Pennsylvania to photograph two of my favorite people on the face of the earth's wedding. Now, Jenna, the bride, has sent me photos of weddings at this venue for over a year now, and I thought I knew what to expect when we were driving from the airport to Landis Valley in Lancaster.. but, I was wrong. It was so much more awesome than I had imagined. I'm kind of obsessed with old things. I have antique furniture, random vintage objects, and my entire wedding was filled with vintage-this and vintage-that, so going up to Pennsylvania was super fun for me because the American history is so much older up there than it is Texas. There were beautiful old buildings, a barn that I literally freaked out over when I saw, and fun farm animals that helped create this beautiful little historic town.

Photography has started to take me to some awesome places. First Oregon and now Pennsylvania. I can't wait to see what else God has in store.
