Tomorrow is Melanie and Barrett's wedding day, and I am so excited to head to Waco and celebrate them and their two families coming together as one! For their engagement session, mother nature decided it was going to be the rainiest weekend of all time, so we had to find an alternative plan for where to take their photos. I think we ended up with some pretty awesome locations! These two are so sweet together, and you can just see the love they have for one another instantly. It was so awesome to have the kiddos come along for part of the session and be a special addition to the photos. I can't wait to see what's in store Melanie and Barrett as they start their lives together tomorrow!
Elaine & James are getting married this Sunday! I can't believe how fast time has flown since their session at the beginning of January. These two met in high school through a church youth group when James' family was living in Singapore. They both came to the States for college, but James went to Texas A&M and Elaine to Dartmouth in New Hampshire. I'm so happy (and I'm quite sure they are, too) these two are finally not going to be separate by thousands of miles and are committing their lives to each other. I know Sunday is going to be a super special day, and I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for these two sweet souls!
Eeee! I'm so excited to share Michael and Emily's engagement session! These two are getting married this Saturday in a historic church outside of Austin and I know it will be gorgeous. Emily and Michael originally volunteered to model for a shoot I was planning with my good friend Tara Barnes, and after that they asked if I would be their wedding photographer. I couldn't say no! You can just tell how much they love each other when they're in each others' arms, it's pretty awesome and makes my job so darn easy. Michael and Emily met each other through Aggie Wranglers here at A&M, and haven't looked back since. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited to see what they have in store for their first dance!
Special thanks to Leanna Duran of Naturally Flawless for the gorgeous makeup and Esther Gonzalez for that magnificent braid!

For Rachel and Nathan's engagement session, we went to Texas A&M's campus for some classic Century Tree photos, as well as out to Lake Bryan to capture them in some romantic sunset light. These two met during their time at Texas A&M, so naturally the Century Tree was a perfect place to start the session! Rachel and I met up for coffee one evening to discuss her and Nathan's wedding, and I knew we were going to have a good time during the session and the rest of their wedding planning process because we sat and talked for 3 hours. I love it when I can connect with my brides on a deeper level than just being their wedding photographer, and their session didn't disappoint! Happy to celebrate with these two in January! Enjoy!
