A little background about this session. These lovely ladies are all sisters. Jessica + Beth are biological sisters, but Kendall + Courtney married their brothers. If you'll remember, I shot Beth + Courtney's weddings this year (Courtney's will be featured very soon!), and when Beth's mom asked me if I would do a session with all four of them in their wedding dresses because they basically all got married in the last year and a half, and honestly, how many times does something like this happen?! I was so, so excited, and I'm glad we were able to pick a gorgeous Sunday evening to head down to Downtown Bryan to shoot. These girls are all so incredibly beautiful, inside and out, and I am so glad to have been apart of this amazing time in their lives.
Haley is a friend of mine, a wonderful registered dietitian, owner of INSPIRD Nutrition, and an amazing cook! I was so honored when she asked me if I would take some professional portraits of her while she was down in Texas visiting family. I absolutely love her purpose behind her business, "Helping people find their definition of healthy." We are all different, but we can all strive to be healthy and live a lifestyle that allows you to love yourself for who you are! If you're in the Pittsburgh, PA area, or even just looking for yummy recipes, be sure to take a look at her website for encouragement, advise, and inspiration! You can find Haley at inspirdnutrition.com.
I met with Karen and Tommy for their engagement session in Downtown Bryan on Valentine's Day. When Karen asked me if I had any availability in February, the only date I still had open was Valentine's day, so I thought it would be a super cute memory for them to share in years to come and asked if they would be willing to meet up on the day of love. We grabbed a cup of coffee at my favorite little coffee spot at the moment, Harvest Cafe, and then we adventured out finding cozy little spots to capture their sweet relationship. They're pretty much amazing together! :)
Lincoln and Alisha were married at Downtown 202 in Downtown Bryan, and what a beautiful day it was! Their wedding was full of classic details that fit perfectly with their style and venue. Their love for each other was so apparent all day long, and the joyful faces of all of their loved ones that traveled from all over Texas and from their home state of Kansas, made this wedding a very intimate and happy affair! Recently, Lincoln and Alisha's beautiful faces graced the cover of the Brazos Valley Insite Magazine, and we were all so excited to see it in print! Lincoln and Alisha are two of the kindest, most considerate souls, and we are so happy we got to celebrate with them on such an amazing day of their life!
