My best friend, Courtney, is getting married this weekend! I can't believe how fast her and Dillon's engagement has flown, but I am so, so excited that they found each other all those years ago and are committing their lives to one another. In March, we planned out their engagement session at a couple of really great locations outside of Waco. As a photographer living in Texas, when you come along and find locations that look like the one below, you get rather excited and proceed to pray for really awesome sunshine, which is what we got. I had so much fun with Dillon and Courtney that evening. They're just the cutest and sweetest together, and I'm proud of Dillon for fully embracing all the odd things I make people do during engagement sessions, hehe. I'm so excited for this Saturday and all the joy and excitement it will hold! Until then, enjoy some of my favorite photos from their engagement session.

Tomorrow is Melanie and Barrett's wedding day, and I am so excited to head to Waco and celebrate them and their two families coming together as one! For their engagement session, mother nature decided it was going to be the rainiest weekend of all time, so we had to find an alternative plan for where to take their photos. I think we ended up with some pretty awesome locations! These two are so sweet together, and you can just see the love they have for one another instantly. It was so awesome to have the kiddos come along for part of the session and be a special addition to the photos. I can't wait to see what's in store Melanie and Barrett as they start their lives together tomorrow!
What a fun session this was! Reilly and Seth are two of the most comfortable people in front of the camera. Seriously, I was taking out my gear and they had already started being absolutely adorable. I was like, hold on you two! We had such a great session out at Moore Ranch on the Brazos where they'll be getting married next August! It's one of my favorite places to do sessions because the owners are so, so kind, and the oak trees + gorgeous light combination get me every single time. The end of their session is one of my favorites of all time. I'm so excited I get to celebrate with these two next year! Enjoy this little peek into their relationship!
I met with Karen and Tommy for their engagement session in Downtown Bryan on Valentine's Day. When Karen asked me if I had any availability in February, the only date I still had open was Valentine's day, so I thought it would be a super cute memory for them to share in years to come and asked if they would be willing to meet up on the day of love. We grabbed a cup of coffee at my favorite little coffee spot at the moment, Harvest Cafe, and then we adventured out finding cozy little spots to capture their sweet relationship. They're pretty much amazing together! :)
