Woah! What a fun session this was! I’ve always wanted to do a session in Sam Houston National Forest because it’s gorgeous and a bit more secluded that the usual spots. I met Jose and Brittany just inside the forest, and we didn’t have to walk very far to find some really amazing light! This spot is perfect for winter months too because the trees are pine and they’re always green. Jose and Brittany were up for absolutely anything, including walking half a mile down a bridge to reach Lake Conroe for some shots towards the end of the session. We’re celebrating these two this weekend out at Broken Arrow Ranch, and I cannot wait to see the vision Brittany has for her wedding day. From the sounds of it, it’s going to be spectacular! Congratulations you two! I know it’s been a long road getting to this moment, but I am so excited to be there with you.

Jacquie and Ryan are getting married tomorrow! We’re going to celebrate with them at St Mary’s Catholic Church and Peach Creek Ranch, two of my absolute favorite places for weddings in College Station. We headed out to shoot their engagement session at the end of last spring at the Antique Rose Emporium, and y’all, we had the most beautiful light that day! The kind of light I secretly pray for before every session.. just kidding, but really, it was so lovely. Ryan and Jacqueline are so sweet, fun, and easy to get along with. Ryan knows just what to do to make Jacquie laugh at just the right time. It was so adorable to watch these two from behind the camera. I know their wedding day is going to be a special one, and we cannot wait to see what they have planned.
Morgan and Austin are getting married this weekend at Peach Creek Ranch so I figured it was about time to share their engagement session from this past fall! We met at Lick Creek Park in College Station and had the most gorgeous sunlight for their session! These two are so easy going and completely head over heels for one another, so that made my job of capturing their relationship pretty easy. After meeting in high school, they dated long distance all throughout college and I know just how excited they are to finally be getting married and living in the same four walls together. I can't wait to see what their joyfilled wedding day holds!
Elaine & James are getting married this Sunday! I can't believe how fast time has flown since their session at the beginning of January. These two met in high school through a church youth group when James' family was living in Singapore. They both came to the States for college, but James went to Texas A&M and Elaine to Dartmouth in New Hampshire. I'm so happy (and I'm quite sure they are, too) these two are finally not going to be separate by thousands of miles and are committing their lives to each other. I know Sunday is going to be a super special day, and I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for these two sweet souls!
