Laura and Taylor are THE cutest, y’all. I LOVE that they love to love on each other! It made my job pretty darn easy for their engagement session. After dating long distance, they are finally in the same state and super excited to get married next May at Peach Creek Ranch. I loved hearing about Taylor’s proposal to Laura in Tennessee and about their sweet families, but most of all, I really enjoyed being able to hang out with them and get to know them a bit better. Summertime engagement sessions in Texas can be hot and humid, but that Texas sunlight makes it all worth it. Seriously.. those wildflower photos are some of my absolute favorite from this year!!
What an amazing engagement session I had with Caleb and Lindsey out at Old Baylor Park and the Antique Rose Emporium. They really wanted nature to be incorporated as a big part of their session, as they both really love it, and I am not one to deny my clients nature! These two spots are some of my favorite for sessions for that very reason. Let’s just say we saw quite a few critters out there, and I’m glad it was these two I was photographing! ;)
Caleb and Lindsey met in high school, and their sweet love story grew from Lindsey asking Caleb to Sadie Hawkins to Caleb asking Lindsey to be his wife while hiking a mountain in Spain. I was a bit jealous of both because the high school I went to didn’t have Sadie Hawkins (any Relient K fans out there?) and who doesn’t want your favorite person to fly halfway across the world to ask you to marry them? They are sweet, caring, and the kindest people, and we are so pumped to be able to photograph their wedding next June!
Antony and Stephanie’s proposal was a sweet one. These two met at A&M, and what better way to start your adventure into marriage together than a proposal under the glorious Century Tree? I met with Antony and their family and friends in front of the Academic Building while Stephanie was in the MSC under the impression that she was there for an awards ceremony for her sister. I always love the crazy plans that going into pulling off a proposal. It adds so much excitement and anticipation to the moment! Before Stephanie got the Century Tree, everyone headed inside a nearby building with a view to make sure they could see everything, but that it was still a private moment for just Antony and Stephanie. They walked to the middle of the walkway underneath the tree, Antony got down on one knee, popped the question, and Stephanie said yes! The smiles on their faces were absolutely amazing. I loved the moment when everyone came rushing out of the building to give them hugs and congratulations. What a sweet moment! Congratulations you two! It was an honor to capture your proposal.
