Boho Brunch Styled Shoot at Peach Creek Ranch

I don't photograph styled shoots all that often, but when I do, I enjoy the slower pace to get creative and photograph beautiful things made and designed by other talented wedding vendors. Last spring I photographed this gorgeous bridal brunch inspiration at Peach Creek Ranch. Heather from EpochCo + Events and Jaelynn from Urban Rubbish planned and styled everything you see below, and boy, those colors are splendid. Bohemian has always been one of my favorite styles, but I'm certainly not bold enough to rock it. I'm so thankful for vendors that have become friends that trust me to photograph their gorgeous designs!

Also.. exciting! This shoot was featured on Brides of Houston, you can check it out here

2015 Fall Bridal Show

My photography business has steadily been growing over the last couple of years, and I've done things I never thought I would be doing in a million years. Bridal shows would for sure be on the list of things I never thought I would ever do. This summer I took a big step and joined the local bridal association here in Bryan/College Station, the Bridal Association of the Brazos Valley. It was a bit of a commitment, but it has brought so much attention to my work, I know I made the right decision.

While I may have shed a few tears while putting all of this together (I built that wall myself you guys!), it was totally worth it in the end. My favorite part of the entire thing is definitely my logo. I wanted to get a little more creative, and I found a tutorial online on how to cut things out of foam board. Give me some gold spray paint, and wa-la! Also, shout out to Kroger's for having some awesome floral selections. I bought all of the flowers and greenery for under $30! There's a few things I might change the next time we do a bridal show, but I'm certain that I can label this one as a success. I've gotten my name out more in the community, I met some really awesome wedding vendors along the way, and I got to connect with brides face-to-face rather than through the computer screen.

*Please note, all bridal show specials are for brides who attended the BABV Bridal Show, entered our giveaway, and book from 9/20/15-10/31/15.
